Aldub Syndrome

I watched Eat Bulaga's episode yesterday where Maine a.k.a YayaDub (@mainedcm) was this pretty girl who got famous due to DubSmash videos, performed like a princess while his prince charming was being punished to fill a drum with buckets of water which the antagonist scope water out of the drum too <I was laughing too hard when this happened>. This is Yaya Dub and Alden's supposedly Cinderella Moments. It did not end as happy ending - they still, did not meet. :(

I like her facial reactions as she does her dubsmashes and most of all their spontaneous dialogue only by using those songs and movie lines Maine and Alden dubs.

It was a quick hit and became top trends in the Philippines as this two person of total difference and have not ever met (Yaya and Alden) whom Lola NiDora played Wally Bayola always intercepts. After Yaya fell sick and fainted on one of their show (it was actually her wedding with Franky played by Jose Manalo), I find myself following the plethora of zealots and fanatics. I'm as shocked as the ranging hits on YouTube or likes on Facebook or the Tweets, I'm starting to follow this Kalye Serye of Eat Bulaga and together with the fans I asked "Kailan ang tamang panaho?"

What's funny about this craziness is that we all know that this is scripted but we also know the fact that these two casts Maine and Alden have not met in real life or even during the Kalye Serye. Another fact is that Maine have a crush on Alden, but I don't know if he does have too; but there is still the "Kilig" moments which most Pinoys look for in every romance. I would consider that this Kalye Serye is a RomCom.

The whole act was amazing with the way they used the effects and the story of the performance. It's also great to see veteran performance such as Lenny Kravitz doing one of Katy Perry's song - "I Kissed a Girl" and one of my favorite artist Missy Elliot which is fun to watch while Katy sings one of Missy's song. The whole set was superb and extra-ordinary, it's like you are watching a mash-up MTV with digital and 3D effects. I like those silver chess pieces too and the titling!

BULLET PROOF BALLOON!

When I heard about it I got intrigue, though I have an inkling there is something else, so I watched the full movie to find out if a bullet proof balloon is indeed correct.

It's funny how the big guy with beard reaction. A magnum 45 will never be stopped by just balloons. The 2 girls are as funny as well like they really wanted to give numbers just like taking an exam which you don't know what's the answer and just circle which you feel like it. And the girl blue won.

Just my points while I watched the video: It was not just the balloon but it's more of the water inside it. We all know how powerful water is. It can break a rock, it can crush a car, it can kill. So it's 90% water and maybe 10% of the balloons elasticity.

Like what the natgeotv.com tv host,  Tim Shaw said: "The bullet enters the fourth balloon but it losses so much velocity that it just can't get through the far side and bounces back into the balloon."

This how Tim Shaw had it explained:

1. When the bullet was released from the gun, it started to loose it's velocity as it needs to cut through the air. (Air is lighter than water so it really should go far)

2. Then it bumps into the first balloon with water, "the thing about water is, water is super dense".

Just as Tim Shaw mentioned it's like bumping to a swimming pool so hard it loses to much energy to penetrate.

See how extremely water reduce the bullet's velocity.

3. Until it losses it's velocity.

In just span of time the Magnum's bullet, lost totally from the water filled balloons.

One Piece - Gender Bender for Cosplay

My group of cosplayer friends and I are planning to do some gender bender of One Piece (New World) Anime Series. We will cosplay the reverse of the characters gender to show the other side of the anime character assigned as the oposite sex cosplay.

I was assigned NAMI for this cosplay and we will be doing our group cosplay this coming April 2015 for the Ozine fest.

I hope you'll like it and I hope I will be able to make a Namiboy effective just like the real character.
